Wall Murals in Tampa, con't
I do love finding and posting wall murals and I had waited a long time to really capture this entire wall. It's too long for one shot so this is "part 2" of yesterday's image. John of "I Love Old Cameras" in the UK (who shoots fantastic black and whites and has a wonderful collection of film cameras - click HERE to visit him) said he'd like to see the right side of the exploding yellow block wall. Well. here it is. Enjoy? (There's a left side to the wall as well.)
I have concluded that Picasso spawned an entire army of "artistes" who now write on walls because their art wouldn't be acceptable in polite society.
ReplyDeleteNow if you had a panoramic camera you could have gotten the whole wall in one shot. And in one post. It's called being efficient!
Heh, heh, heh!
Re your question on Ocala DP about running the people off...well, I'll tell ya, I feel really terrible about it, but after I took the photo and noticed people fleeing into the hinterlands of Sam's Club across the street, I realized I had failed to apply the proper dose of underarm deodorant.
ReplyDeleteI started to flee, too!
Jacob -I wish I had a panoramic comera, but stitching works pretty well, too.
ReplyDeleteThe artist certainly knows his colors.
ReplyDeleteI love this kind of 'art', something vibrant and modern about it. Really urban, probably wouldn't work in a village. Oh, and thanks for the mention as well.
ReplyDeleteThat is some mural Frank! I like the colors.
