Very cool, Frank. A funky-lookin' vehicle. I'd guess they were safer than that other Ford product, the Pinto! Yikes. We had one. And Lois got rear-ended on I-20 in Dallas one day on her way to teach school. We were very fortunate that it didn't blow up like most of them did!
@Lowell - We also had a Pinto, a horrible puke green. One of those cars that remain on a spewial list. The Why did we buy that car? list. Lois was very lucky.
