I'm not sure if this contraption on the beach is a water fountain, plain and simple, or a place to clean fish. It's the oddest fountain I've encountered. Anyone seen another like this one? Anywhere? ever?
@ B Squared and Jacob- I had the same thought and wondered about a fixture "designer" and procurement department for the parks and rec that would order these for public beaches. Odd isn't the word and weird is an apt description.
@ Lois - Jacob and B Squared think it's out-of-place and may have more than one purpose. Maybe the city/county were trying to save money in these tight economic times.
