Tampa's skyline from the river's edge

This shot was taken from across the Hillsborough River at Plant Park and captures the Kennedy Street bridge and the Regions Financial tower at 100 North Tampa Street. The towering skyscraper stands 579 feet tall and has 42 floors. Currently it is the tallest structure in Tampa and the ninth-tallest building in Florida.

  1. We could use some of that blue sky over here.

  2. I'm curious as to the occupancy rate. We are way down.

  3. Somehow, the top part of the building reminds me of a church.

    A fabulous cityscape!

  4. It's a beautiful building, but I wouldn't want to be in there during a hurricane!

  5. I had the same thought as Hilda, the top of the building looks like a church.

  7. @ Hilda
    and @ Chris

The top is very much like a steep church roof. From inside it even looks more like it as it has big church sanctuary-like windows. It must have been intentional.
