Big, Fat, Juicy Mushrooms
These are not the type mushrooms I want on my plate for Thanksgiving dinner. They've literally sprung up from nowhere in the yards nearby. Like mushrooms do. And they're big...I'd say 4-5-inches across the top. Delicious looking, right??
I never gave much attention to mushrooms until now. Nice photo!
ReplyDeleteDang internet ate my first comment.
ReplyDeleteAnd it was a longish one and I'm sure I can't recall it all--so I will just say, lovely photo. I eat lots of wild mushrooms, but one must be very careful which ones to eat.
It's a lovely macro, well-composed
ReplyDeleteOoooh...I have to admit I'm transfixed. What beautiful mushrooms. Are you sure you can't eat 'em?
ReplyDeleteThis photo totally fills my eyes--which is the greatest compliment I can give.
I don't know if I would like to eat them, but would absolutely love the details, colours and angle of this shot.
ReplyDeleteDon't know if these are edible but I absolutely love field mushrooms straight from the field to the fry-pan with a little bacon grease and then on toast. Childhood memory of when my dad used to pick them when I was a lad.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving dear friends!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful day to all of you,
Léia
I do all my mushroom hunting in Publix.
ReplyDeleteThey do look inviting, if not tasty. I'm with B Squared!
