Actually, big conch shells like these are not that uncommon around here and after a number of years begin to take on that bleached look of ancient bones.
@ Jabob - I did NOT see or imply any resemblance to you, my friend. BUT, if you know of a familial relationship to these specific archeological specimens, I could always arrange a family reunion. (Watch for the UPS knock at the door. Your pool is looking kind of bare.))
